Full Job Description
We are a large plumbing service and repair company located in the Southside of Jacksonville and are seeking to hire experienced Plumbing Service Technicians and experienced Sewer and Drain Technicians. These individuals' responsibilities would include the full range of plumbing repair work at single-family homes, multifamily communities, office buildings, restaurants, etc. We do not perform new work and only work in metro Jacksonville, including St. Augustine.

Senior Tech= should be fluent in all aspects of plumbing including but not limited to the following.
Large and small piping repairs of all kinds, commercial water heater install and repair, recirculating systems. Mixing valves, tankless water heaters, repipes, DWV plumbing system installs and repairs, all plumbing fixture and appliance installs and repairs. Should be able to Quote repipes and new appliance installs such as tankless heaters, and well versed In plumbing codes.
Regular tech= should be able to complete most plumbing task for any residential job and small commercial repairs.
Piping repairs of all sizes and material, repipes, DWV roughs and repairs, all plumbing fixture installs and repairs, appliance installs and repairs, should have basic knowledge of plumbing codes
Senior Apprentice= Should be able to perform at or near the same level as a regular tech he should be up for promotion. Should be covering 3rd call if needed.
Apprentice= Should be well versed in all plumbing materials/parts. Able to repipe without instruction. And be able to assist there assigned plumber with most task asked of them.
Junior Apprentice=should be learning repipes, learning tools required to perform work, needs to be learning to identify fittings/parts and their uses.

The primary responsibility of a Plumbing Apprentice is to train to be a Plumbing Technician. Prior plumbing experience is not required.
We are a 24/7 company. All apprentices are part of our On-Call Schedule.

Job Overview
With our commitment to helping the community, starting in 2021 we will be launching the “David Gray Academy”. Our focus is to hire recent high school graduates who have the desire and motivation to learn a skilled trade: Electrical, Plumbing or HVAC. Trades helpers will learn the tools used, safety protocols, and the rules and regulations required for the job performed.
This position is FULL time with on the job training that will consist of but is not limited to: training with a technician at job sites in homes or commercial businesses, in-house training in a classroom setting and offsite at our community partners who are proficient with our level of training programs.
If you are motivated with a strong will to learn to master one of our skilled trade; promotions and incentives are opportunities that are within your reach. This job will train our Trades Helpers to become certified Technicians for David Gray.
Typical workdays are Monday through Friday, 7AM – 4PM. Note: Trades Helpers in the David Gray Academy may be scheduled as part of our on-call schedule for additional training if needed.
Responsibilities and Duties
